MICHAEL MADDEN is a native of Massachusetts and still has family living on the South Shore of Boston and on Cape Cod. In the late 1970s he was a commercial fisherman hunting for swordfish in the Atlantic seas 150 miles off the coast of New England and wintering with the crew in colorful Key West, Florida. There he fished the often tempestuous south Atlantic, the mysterious Bermuda Triangle and the moody Gulf of Mexico, while enjoying the Caribbean influence of the islands when in port. Following a career that eventually led him to Southern California he and his wife recently retired and settled in the state’s Central Coast wine region. They return to New England and Cape Cod each year for family gatherings, adventures and the best lobster and clam chowder served anywhere. REDEMPTION – The Hard Road to Justice is Michael’s debut novel.
