MICHAEL MADDEN is a native of Massachusetts and still has family living on the South Shore of Boston and Cape Cod. In the late 1970s, he was a commercial fisherman hunting swordfish in the Atlantic Ocean, 150 miles off the coast of New England, and wintering with the crew in colorful Key West, Florida. While there, he would fish the often tempestuous South Atlantic, the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, and the moody Gulf of Mexico while enjoying the island’s Caribbean influences when in port. Following a career that eventually led him to Southern California, he and his wife recently retired and settled in California’s Central Coast wine region. They frequently return to New England and Cape Cod for family gatherings, adventures, and the best lobster and clam chowder served anywhere. REDEMPTION – The Hard Road to Justice is Michael’s debut novel.
